Jamie Nell Colby, an American anchor and journalist for Fox News Channel (FNC) was a former national news reporter. In the Fox Business Network, she hosts Strange Inheritance. Since July 2003, Colby has been a National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News. Prior to becoming a part of FOX News Channel Colby was an CNN reporter and was anchor, reporter, and anchor for CBS News. She also was a substitute for CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney in New York, California and licensed attorney in Florida. Colby was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award in 2002 for her reporting of the September 11 attacks as well as the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000, and the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her the "Rising News Star to Follow". Colby was also a reporter as well as a lawyer for a decade. Colby's law practice began with an Hollywood entertainment firm that was assigned to The Tonight Show. She was host and reporter for Johnny Carson at 22. Colby is the anchor and reporter of the show Strange Inheritance, a show on Fox Business since January 2015. The show focuses on extraordinary or unimaginable legacy that family members or friends have left behind.
