Paget Valerie Brewster
Paget Valerie Broughster is an American
actor vocalist, singer, and actress. Her fame was first recognized due to her
recurring role as Kathy on the fourth season of the NBC sitcom Friends. Her
breakout role was as Supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the crime
drama Criminal Minds that she appeared regularly from 2006 until 2012. She has
since returned as a guest on the show before returning regularly in the year
2016. She also portrayed Mr. Mumbles and Elise on Dan Vs., Frankie Dart in
Community's final season, Birdgirl in Harvey Birdman Attorney at law, Sara
Kingsley in Fox's Grandfathered and Donald Duck’s twin sister Della on
DuckTales 2017, marking the first animated appearance for the character.
Brewster was born on the 10th of March 1969 in Concord, Massachusetts. Her
mother, Hathaway Brewster (nee Tew) was a senior government official. Galen
Brewster was her father and worked as an administrator at school. Brewster grew
up in Massachusetts and later moved to New York City to attend Parsons School
of Design. She began her acting career in her first year and was then able to
drop out of Parsons School of Design to pursue acting. In the middle of the
1990s, Brewster moved to San Francisco and began taking acting classes.
Brewster hosted Paget Talk, a late-night talk show in San Francisco Bay Area
between 1994 and 1995 on KPIX-TV. Brewster was host for 65 episodes. The fourth
season of, the NBC show Friends made her famous as Kathy who played a recurring
role. Huff as well as Andy Richter Controls the Universe featured her. In the
film she played Ms. Indestructible, the female character in James Gunn's
low-budget superhero comedy The Specials (2000). She played Amy Pierson, a
calculus teacher afraid of the water, in the independent film The Big Bad Swim,
that debuted in 2006 at the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2005, she started voice
acting as Judy Sebben/Birdgirl. She was a regular character in the animated
series Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law (and later played a similar role on
American Dad! ).
