Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka Chopra was born July 18, 1982 in Jamshedpur, India. Chopra was in the high school system when she won Miss India. She then won the 2000 Miss World pageant. After that international triumph, Chopra turned her sights to the film world and was a massive star in the Bollywood system. American television helped her become an international star on Quantico The FBI drama which aired from 2015 to 2018. Chopra also garnered attention for her marriage to Nick Jonas in December 2018. In 2003, she starred in her first Bollywood film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. The same year, she was also in Andaaz. It was the start of a series of films that comprised Plan, Kismat (a romantic comedy about an espionage operative), Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitrazz, and Asambhav All of which were released in 2004. Although most of these films did not make it to the top of the charts Chopra's romantic comedy Mujhse Karogi was a huge success. When she was just 20, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed that same year with Jeet born to Win. Chopra said that her debut film was an awful experience. "I wanted it to be over after I was done with it!" I was not sure of the meaning behind what I was doing." The actor and singer Nick Jonas went public with their relationship in the summer of 2018. Their engagement was announced in July. Jonas is reported to have proposed on Chopra’s 36th birthday. They were married in an extravagant and multi-day event that started on December 1 in 2018.
